About us

Established in 1999, Moten Sport ski school has two of the best mountain bases on Vitosha mountain, in “Aleko” region

"Aleko" hut (110 beds), 150+ seat restaurant and tea room, infrared heated winter garden on the terrase, two ski and snowboard depots, Free Wi-Fi access, Live webcam - across the hut, facing "Stenata” (The Wall) ski run;

"Moten" guesthouse - 60 seat restaurant on two levels with fireplaces on each level, outside terrace and ski schools equipment area.

More than 30 highly qualified ski and snowboard instructors

All courses are in accordance to the international ski and snowboarding standards and training methods. We offer ski and snowboard tuition in four levels (classes), individual or group lessons for age categories between 4 to over 70 years old.

Eli Dimitrova, one of the most famous women in the ski sport in Bulgaria and national ski champion for many years, is the current director of the school. Another famous name at the school is Emil Semov, also a long-term national ski racer and champion.

Moten Sport is a long-term member of the Bulgarian Ski Federation

Moten Sport is a member of different branch associations such as the Bulgarian Tourism Union, Bulgarian Tourism Federation, and the Association of Ski Schools in Bulgaria.

Moten Sport has a tour operator license issued under №.РК-01-6848.

Moten Sport Champions

Since 2002 there are two young teams in our “Moten” sports club – in alpine skiing and snowboarding. Our athlettes are always in top 3 at the National races in both disciplines. Over the last season 2017/18 Kamen Zlatkov wins the National Championship for young skiers – the “Hope” cup. Our young talented snowboarder Ivan Ivanov wins the “Hope” cup in snowboarding.

The present bulgarian top skier Albert Popov is from our club. In the FIS World Cup slalom in Levy (Finland) this November 2018, Albert starts with number 75 and finished at the 20-th position, winning his first 11 FIS points! Albert (Abi) ended the last winter season with the bronze medal from Davos World Youth Championship and with the impressive 28-th position in slalom at the Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang -2018.
